General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Online Vouchers

General information

The contract is concluded with Wanderhotels e.V., Südtiroler Platz 2/3. Stock, 9900 Lienz. Any deviating provisions are only valid if they have been expressly agreed in writing by both parties. Only persons aged 18 and over are entitled to make purchases in our online shop.

  • Conclusion of contract, payment, and delivery

The vouchers offered on the website represent a non-binding and subject-to-change purchase offer. Prices include any applicable sales tax. The online ordering of a voucher via the Internet represents a binding purchase offer by the customer, which Wanderhotels e.V. is entitled to accept within 48 hours by sending an order confirmation via email, thereby concluding the purchase contract. If no order confirmation is received within the aforementioned period, the purchase offer is deemed rejected and no purchase contract is concluded. After receipt of payment of the amount owed under the concluded purchase contract, the purchased vouchers will be sent by Wanderhotels e.V. . To save shipping costs, the purchased vouchers can also be paid for by credit card or instant bank transfer, in which case the vouchers will be sent free of charge via email and can be printed out by the customer. If requested by the customer, the vouchers will also be sent by post even if they are paid for by credit card or instant bank transfer. No liability is accepted for any delay in delivery by post. If the voucher ordered online has already been sent to the customer before the payment for it has been received or credited to Wanderhotels e.V., the voucher is not valid until full payment has been made and Wanderhotels e.V. is entitled to withhold the services specified in the voucher until full payment of the amount due has been received.

  • Vouchers

Please note that online vouchers are sent to customers by Wanderhotels e.V. with a forgery-proof code. Since the customer can print the voucher themselves, multiple prints are possible, but only one print is valid and redeemable. The first voucher redeemed in the INCERT voucher management system with the corresponding barcode is considered the original and must be debited immediately after redemption by Wanderhotels e.V. . Should further copies with the same code appear, this constitutes misuse, which will result in criminal prosecution. As a voucher can be passed on or given away, Wanderhotels e.V. is not obliged or able to check the ownership rights of the redeemer. When redeeming, only the following is checked: whether the corresponding barcode has actually been approved by the system and whether the corresponding voucher has actually been paid for. Lost vouchers will not be replaced. Vouchers cannot be returned in exchange for cash. If the value of the voucher exceeds the value of the service consumed, a new voucher will be generated for the remaining value. In such a case, there is no entitlement to a cash payment of the outstanding voucher amount. Wanderhotels e.V. is not obliged to accept unpaid vouchers as a means of payment. Wanderhotels e.V. vouchers can only be redeemed at current member establishments. In hotels that have left the group, the value can neither be credited nor offset. Should Wanderhotels e.V. have to close or cease trading for any reason, the online vouchers shall expire without compensation.

  • Validity, period of validity

Vouchers have no expiry date and can be redeemed at any time. Each voucher can only be redeemed once, which is ensured by a barcode or voucher number associated with the voucher.

  • Cash redemption, invoicing

Cash redemption of the voucher or the value it represents is not possible. A VAT-compliant invoice with the corresponding tax certificate can only be issued at the time the voucher is redeemed and the service is actually provided.

  • Security guarantee, data protection

Your security is our top priority! Therefore, data such as credit card number, bank code, account number, name, and address are transmitted via certified payment providers using their secure SSL connection in accordance with PCI guidelines when paying by credit card. This ensures that no unauthorized person can read the data you enter during transmission over the Internet. To provide additional security in the voucher shop, we apply a series of additional security measures. Your details are processed by us using automated systems. In accordance with the general terms and conditions, the customer agrees to receive advertising information from Wanderhotels e.V. This data will not be passed on to third parties.

  • Loss

Wanderhotels e.V. cannot provide a replacement for lost, stolen, or invalidated vouchers.

  • Place of jurisdiction

All contractual relationships are governed exclusively by Austrian law. The place of jurisdiction is the regional court in Austria.
