In summer and winter, our hiking guides Hans-Peter & Moni take you to the Hohe Tauern National Park or the Pinzgau mountain worlds 5-7 times a week. Afterwards, head to the 1,200m² SPA with natural outdoor pool, coloured light indoor pool & sauna world. In winter, swish down directly to the hotel from the Skiarena Wildkogel. In summer, enjoy all-inclusive services and the Summer Card benefits. Our tip: Sleep in the tree house.
In this unique conservation area in the Hohe Tauern Mountains, you’ll enjoy all the charms of the high mountains: green valley floors, blooming alpine meadows, glacial valleys formed in prehistoric times, bold peaks made of rock and ice, and rich fauna and flora. Großvenediger Peak stansd majestically in the background, ruling over an expanse of gleaming white glaciers. The heights of the Wildkogel hiking area promise stunning vistas that include fabulous views of Hohe Tauern National Park, which is easily accessible by cable car.
At Hotel Gassner, you will find the right favourite spot for every kind of connection: hiking in the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps with 5 guided hikes per week, relaxing in the 1,200 m² Crystal and GardenSPA, enjoying delicacies from our own garden and the region and, of course, cuddling and snuggling up in the luxurious tree house right next door. In winter, you can ski from the Wildkogel Arena ski area on the valley run right behind the hotel, while in summer you can enjoy all the benefits of the National Park Summer Card for the duration of your holiday.
We are at home ‘outside’ from Monday to Friday: As a true child of nature, our hiking guide Monika knows all too well how to leave tracks in the snow and collect lasting impressions. Five times a week, she will accompany you snowshoeing, tobogganing, on a gentle winter hike or on a torch-lit hike in the surrounding mountains.
