Established as an adults-only hotel, the culinary focus of the wellness hotel in Pertisau is on creating exquisite delights: regional, seasonal, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free – diverse diets carefully crafted into fine dining. Winter hiking trails that pass directly by the hotel lead into the natural paradise of Karwendel and Rofan.
Located on Lake Achensee, Pertisau offers a unique winter setting. Snuggle up in a cozy blanket and be whisked along the picturesque lakeshore in a horse-drawn carriage, or experience snowshoe tours through the Karwendel Nature Park as an intense nature adventure – all of this defines the Pertisau winter feeling.

The history of our house dates back to the 1940s. It was in 1949 that the current hotelier family built the “Villa Rieser” to welcome guests from near and far. Through numerous expansions, renovations, and modernizations, the former guesthouse evolved into today’s adults-only hotel. The family has always been committed to preserving the traditional Tyrolean charm while blending it with modern elements. Hotelier Adi Rieser Junior, who now runs the hotel in the third generation, has a favorite spot: the rustic and cozy farmhouse parlor. With plenty of wood, local materials, and historical photographs, it’s a wonderful place to relax, reminisce, enjoy the present, and dream about the future.
