“When our guests feel their hearts open up on a hike, our job is done”, says Iris, one of our 5 guides. We organise 2-3 hikes a day, Monday to Sunday, for all levels of expertise. All age groups, single or group travellers -hiking enthusiasts will be in their element! We welcome people from all over the world who love nature and recharge their batteries while out and about. The Tuxer and Zillertal valleys come together between the Tux Prealps and the main Zillertal ridge. At the valley head of the Zillertal Valley’s sunniest side valley, you’ll find the impressive Zillertal Glacier, Austria’s only year-round ski area. The Zillertal and Tux Alps boast more than fifty three-thousanders, offering amazing views and viewpoints. The high-mountain nature park, situated at elevations between 1,000 m and 3,509 metres, covers 379 square kilometres: it’s a real El Dorado for hikers and mountain climbers alike!

From our hiking hotel, you can reach the Zillertal 3000 ski and glacier world in no time at all – skiing and ski touring in the face of the most sublime mountains in Tyrol with refreshments in the most rustic huts in Tyrol. Winter hiking and snowshoeing are popular activities in our charming Tuxertal, the little brother of the Zillertal. Both create a close connection to the glistening white winter landscape, slowing you down and calming you down. Our winter brings adventure and relaxation. Our winter is real (Tyrolean).
