The Walchhofer family knows exactly what is needed for a feel-good holiday, as they have a long tradition of hosting guests. For over 50 years, guests have been coming and going at Walchhofers. It all began in 1966 when the family converted their small farm – at its peak, there were 4 cows – into a guesthouse. Although the cows no longer graze on their own meadow, the awareness of nature and regional products, the down-to-earth mentality passed down through generations, and the love for their homeland are still tangible throughout the hotel.
