There are many opportunities to go hiking in and around Sterzing. The Sarntal Alps, for example, promise a combination of (high) alpine nature and trails steeped in history. From the Zinseler (2,422 m), which can also be reached from our hiking hotel in Freienfeld, there is a magnificent view of the Rosskopf (2,189 m), the Weispitze (2,714 m) and the town of Sterzing in the South Tyrolean Wipptal. If you like travelling on lonely paths and at lofty heights, choose the mountain tour to the 3510 m high Hochfeiler. ‘Cause on lonely paths you feel free & alive!
