Hermann Maier once started his career as a ski star in the Radstadt Tauern. The Niedere Tauern mountain range, which is rich in two-thousanders and lakes, is so well developed with mountain railways and public hiking buses that the peaks and mountain huts are easily accessible. Gently rising ridges line the extensive valley floor. Easy hikes allow you to comfortably explore the Salzburg hiking paradise.

At least 1 winter-hike with hotelier Jens through the snowy mountains in Flachau; snowshoeing, winter-hiking, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing
Snow Space Salzburg (5 min walk, other ski areas are accessible with a free ski shuttle, which departs every 15min directly in front of the hotel)
