Hermann Maier once started his career as a ski star in the Radstadt Tauern. The Niedere Tauern mountain range, which is rich in two-thousanders and lakes, is so well developed with mountain railways and public hiking buses that the peaks and mountain huts are easily accessible. Gently rising ridges line the extensive valley floor. Easy hikes allow you to comfortably explore the Salzburg hiking paradise.

Double Olympic champion Hermann Maier once began his career as a ski star in the Radstädter Tauern. Flachau is the centrepiece of Ski amadé, Austria’s largest ski association. With 210 kilometres of pistes, the winter paradise offers a wide range of options for skiing beginners and pros. Glide over 260 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails or hike through the wild, romantic winter landscape on snowshoes. If you like snow and winter sports, you’re in good hands here.

Snow Space Salzburg (5 min walk, other ski areas are accessible with a free ski shuttle, which departs every 15min directly in front of the hotel)
