“Where Tyrol meets Salzburg, where the Glockner’s icy fields shine…” echoes through the hotel lobby when hostess Isolde Hinteregger begins to sing the Carinthian homeland song. She has loved singing since childhood. Whether on a hike, during a wine tasting, or just for herself – the hostess always has a Carinthian song on her lips. And a smile, of course. Because singing, as we all know, brings happiness.
Her grandchildren are just as delighted when Grandma Isolde sings for them. Then, the beloved Carinthian songs sometimes make way for well-known children’s tunes. As a grandmother of four, her repertoire is vast – and her little listeners are all ears.
