The adventure region Katschberg-Rennweg between Carinthia and Salzburg at the Tauernhauptkamm, is an excellent hiking area for families. Along the extended hiking trails marginal the National Park Hote Tauern and the UNESCO-Biosphere park Nockberge alpine cabins invite to culinary stops. Another natural treasure is the Pöllatal by Rennweg. Children love the “Tschu-tschu-train”, among other things.
