In the middle of the Rieserferner-Ahrn nature park, the 21 kilometer long Anterselva Valley is a mecca for biathlon and cross-country skiing in the Alps. In winter there are the biathlon championships, in the summer it is a hiking paradise for nature lovers: the idyllic South Tyrolean villages are the starting point for mountain hikes to the 3000 meters high of the Rieserfernergroup. At the entrance to the Anterselva Valley, the village lawn is characterized by a fantastic natural landscape with a free view of the marked peaks and gentle pastures of the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags. The hiking offer ranges from simple walks to extended mountain tours. Definitely worth a visit is a tour to the Messner Mountain Museum on the Kronplatz, which can be perfectly organized by Hotel Autentic Adler.
