Twenty-four hamlets—small settlements—with a total of around 2,000 inhabitants are scattered across the gently sloping high plateau, surrounded by protective mountain ranges. The Biohotel Leutascherhof is run by Christian and Eveline Wandl, who are the second generation to manage the family business with passion and conviction. Hiking has been their core competence since 1993 – five guided tours per week are offered in both summer and winter.
