You can experience a completely different, yet equally impressive way to explore the mountains via the Hochmuth: You can comfortably float up in the cable car and join the Meraner Höhenweg right away. This well-known circular hiking trail winds its way in several stages around the Texel Group Nature Park—from hut to hut, along scenic high-altitude trails, through diverse vegetation zones, and offering sweeping views of the Merano region, the Vinschgau Valley, and all the way to the Dolomites.
