The Tuxertal, surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Zillertal Alps, has its most striking highlight in the Hintertux Glacier. As a side valley in the Zillertal Alps High Mountain Nature Park, it offers peace and unspoiled nature. Hiking in the Tuxertal is an experience for all the senses: from relaxed walks near the valley to moderate alpine hikes and challenging summit tours – both beginners and experienced mountaineers will find something to suit them here. The traditional Zillertal is considered the big brother of the Tuxertal. Alpinists enjoy via ferrata, routes of varying difficulty, and a variety of hiking trails.
