Your Wanderhotel near the
Dachstein massif

The Dachstein massif covers a total area of 772 km² across the provinces of Salzburg, Styria, and Upper Austria. This makes it one of the largest and most striking mountain ranges in the Northern Alps. The Hohe Dachstein (2,995 m) is the highest point.

The Dachstein Massif consists of an impressive glacier landscape that captivates nature lovers. The Dachstein Ice Palace, with its detailed figures, ice columns, and crystal dome, fascinates young and old alike. Hikes in the Dachstein massif are appealing due to their diversity: from spectacular cave hikes to leisurely hikes in the middle of the nature reserve, which has been designated as such since 2001.

Hiking on the Dachstein is a hit with explorers of all ages! Here you will find our Wanderhotel on the Salzburg side of the Dachstein massif.
